St. Thomas Matara and Royal Monaragala win matches

(UTV|COLOMBO) – St. Thomas College, Matara and Royal College Monaragala won matches in their fixtures of the ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 19 inter Schools Cricket tournament yesterday.

Left arm leg spinner Sineth Sithara had a match bag of 10-wickets against Vidyartha College at Matara. Vishal Perera skipper and right hand opener of Lyceum Internatioanl School Wattala scored 176 runs in 202 balls with 21 boundaries and 2 sixes against Royal College Panadura.

Sachin Chamuditha of Royal Panadura scored unbeaten 121 runs against of Lyceum International School Wattala.

St. Thomas College Matara beat Vidyartha College Kandy by innings and 38 runs. Royal College Monaragala beat Gamini NS Bentota by 5 wickets. Other matches were drawn.
