BIA worker arrested with 6.5kgs gold

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A 41-year-old employee at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) had been arrested with 6.5 kgs of gold biscuits worth Rs. 58 million by officers attached to Customs Narcotics Unit, Customs Spokesman said.

“The suspect had concealed 65 pieces of gold biscuits each weighing 100gms on his body,” he said.
