SLFP seat organisers summoned to Colombo

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has summoned all SLFP seat organisers for a special discussion in Colombo, on Tuesday.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal in the isle, Senior Vice-President of the SLFP Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa said the upcoming general election and party reform activities will be discussed during the meeting.

He said the party chairman, the general secretary and all activists are expected to attend the Tuesday’s crucial meeting.

Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa added that the SLFP will also hold a commemoration event for the party founder, SWRD Bandaranaike on Wednesday.

He said the party will focus on winning the upcoming election through a common programme.
