(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Navy has apprehended a 21-year-old drug trafficker who disguised as a fisherman during a patrol carried out in the Back Bay sea area on Saturday (04).
The suspect was on-board a craft in Back Bay area and a Naval craft on patrol has searched this suspicious person and questioned. By the inquiry this person was identified as a drug trafficker in Trincomalee area and he was apprehended by the Navy.
The suspect, a resident of Trincomalee area, was handed over to the Headquarters Police in Trincomalee for further investigation.
