Four arrested over Devalaya gold theft

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Four out of 6 suspects, who had allegedly stolen jewellery valued at Rs. 50 million from a Devalaya in Galthenna, Thalathuoya, have been arrested this morning (26).

Six suspects who arrived in a three-wheeler had stolen jewellery weighing 10 kilos and Rs. 400,000 in cash yesterday (25).

The Police have recovered the three-wheeler on information received from the CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) footages and managed to arrest the 4 suspects along with stolen gold.
