SLPP willing to continue discussions with SLFP

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) is willing to continue talks with the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) to form a new political alliance.

SLPP has so far had 7 rounds of talks with the SLFP.

However, SLPP Chairman, Professor G. L. Peiris stated that the SLPP symbol must remain, yet at a Parliamentary Election a different symbol can be considered.
