(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology forecasted that showers are expected in several areas today (09).
Accordingly, several spells of light showers will occur today in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and North-Western Provinces.
Furthermore, showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Uva and Eastern Provinces and in Mullaitivu District after 2.00 this evening, while wind speed can increase up to 40 – 50 kilometres per hour at times in Northern and North-Central Provinces and in Trincomalee District, the Meteorology Department added.
