12 schools to re-open for third terms on Sept 16

(UTv|COLOMBO) – Twelve schools will re-open for the third term on September 16 as the schools are being used as paper marking centres, the Education Ministry said.

All other state schools and state-approved private schools will re-open on September 02, the Ministry added.

The 12 schools which will re-open on September 16 are as follows :

  1. Royal College – Colombo 07
  2. Nalanda College  – Colombo 10
  3. Hindu College – Colombo 04
  4. Gnanodaya Maha Vidyalaya – Kalutara
  5. Mihindu Vidyalaya – Ratnapura
  6. St. Anne’s College – Kurunegala
  7. Kingswood College – Kandy
  8. Viharamahadevi Balika Maha Vidyalaya – Kandy
  9. Seethadevi Balika Vidyalaya – Kandy
  10. Vidyaloka Vidyalaya – Galle
  11. Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya – Badulla
  12. Uva Central College – Badulla
