GMOA to launch island-wide strike from Monday

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to launch an island-wide strike from Monday (19).

The strike will be launched citing several demands including the Government’s failure to set standards for medical education, shortage of drugs in hospitals, handing over internships at State Hospitals for unqualified students, violating the procedure of medical transfers of Doctors.
