Chopper carrying Prez damages two shops

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Two shops were damaged during the take-off of the chopper carrying the President who participated in an event held in Naula yesterday.

The shop owners said roofs of their shops were blown away due to the winds created with the taking off of the chopper.

One of the shop owners said he had a minor injury after a part of a roofing sheet collapsed on his hand.

The President attended a ceremony to present ‘Rana Parashuwa’ and the ‘Regimental Rana Purashuwa’ to the Sri Lanka Army Special Forces marking the presentation of the President’s and Regimental Colours.
