New “G.I. Joe” film to include Chuckles

(UTV|COLOMBO) – On top of their planned “Snake Eyes” film, Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have begun development another movie based on the G.I. Joe toyline.

Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, who wrote the recent “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movies and “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” are writing a script for what is said to be an ensemble piece.

Amongst the ensemble will be Chuckles, a character known for undercover and infiltration work who has not appeared in the previous Joe movies.

“Snake Eyes” is in pre-production ahead of an October 16th 2020 release date. Appelbaum and Nemec are also working on the Tom Clancy-based anti-terrorism thriller “Rainbow Six” which Michael B. Jordan is producing for Paramount.
