Sixty-three suspects including 12 extreme terrorists, detained – CID

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sixty-three suspects including 12 extreme terrorists are currently in custody over their links to Easter Sunday attacks, the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shani Abeysekera stated.

He told the media at a press briefing held at the CID yesterday (08) that among the arrestees there are about 4 to 5 suicide attackers who had not detonated their bombs on the Easter Sunday.
