Momoa leads Netflix’s “Sweet Girl” film

(UTV|COLOMBO) – “Aquaman” actor Jason Momoa is set to produce and star in the revenge thriller “Sweet Girl” for Netflix.

Momoa will portray a husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while also protecting his daughter.

Will Staples, Gregg Hurwitz and Philip Eisner wrote the script while producer Brian Andrew Mendoza (“Braven,” “Frontier”) will make his feature directorial debut on the project. Momoa, Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson will produce.

Momoa recently wrapped production on “Dune” based on Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel.
