(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliamentarian (MP) Bandula Lal Bandarigoda says Party Leader Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will reach the right decision, at the right time pertaining to the United National Party’s (UNP) candidate, for the impending Presidential election.
Speaking to a prominent online news portal, the MP said the UNP has several candidates who are suitable.
He noted the Party Leader will reach an apt decision after discussions with the party Working Committee and the Parliamentary group.
He further stressed the UNP does not have any internal conflicts, adding however members may have their own personal opinions on who will be the candidate.
The MP reiterated however that a UNP member will be fielded without any doubt.
