Mathematics Tutor among 8 remanded over road rage attack

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Eight suspects, including Mathematics Tutor Dinesh Nuwan Amaratunga, who surrendered to the Court over an alleged attack on a van at Kalagedihena, have been remanded till 29 July by the Attanagalle Magistrate’s Court today (22).

The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) is currently investigating the incident circulated on social media where Amaratunga’s so-called Security Personnel were seen intimidating and attacking a van driver at Kalagedihena in Nittambuwa.

Four suspects have been arrested earlier after they surrendered to the CCD and remanded till 22 July.

The suspects are charged for assault and causing damage to the vehicle.
