Navy apprehends a person with heroin

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with the Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested a person who possessed 5 grams and 820 milligrams of heroin, at Kathaluwa area in Ahangama on Sunday (21).

Accordingly, a team of Naval Personnel attached to Southern Naval Command in coordination with STF Personnel of Hiyare arrested this person during a raid carried out in Kathaluwa area.

The suspect has been identified as a drug trafficker resides in Ahangama area, aged 28 and he along with the heroin was handed over to Ahangama Police, for onward action.
