Wellampitiya factory employee re-remanded

(UTV|COLOMBO) – One of the employees of the Wellampitiya copper factory arrested over links to Easter Sunday bombers has been further remanded until the 29th of July.

The tenth suspect in the case, Abdullah Rajendran was ordered to be further remanded by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne.

UTV News Court Correspondent said officers attached to the Terrorist Investigation Division had previously informed court that all persons implicated in the case are being investigated under clauses of the Counter Terrorism Act.
