More rain in Sri Lanka likely

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology on Saturday (13) forecasted that the atmospheric conditions are still favourable for showers or thundershowers particularly in the evening or night.

Accordingly, showers or thundershowers will occur in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and North-Central Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts, while showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 this evening.

Furthermore, fairly heavy falls about 50 – 75 millimetres are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Eastern Provinces, and in Kalutara, Galle and Matara Districts.
