Two arrested with heroin

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy has arrested 2 persons with 5.310 grams of heroin at the Oluvil Junction.

A group of Naval Personnel attached to the Southeastern Naval Command had searched 2 suspicious persons riding a motorbike at the Oluvil Junction and found 5 small packets containing 5.310 grams of heroin, concealed in the seat cover of the motorbike. The suspects were subsequently taken into Naval custody.

The 2 suspects are residents of Addalachchenai and Palamunai areas, aged 21 and 33. The suspects along with heroin and motorbike were handed over to the Police Special Task Force (STF) in Kalmunai for further investigation.
