SC appoints Judge Bench to consider petitions against Pujith, Hemasiri

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Supreme Court on Monday (08) appointed a 7 Judge Bench to consider the Fundamental Rights (FR) Petitions filed against the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando on the Easter Sunday attacks.

Accordingly, the Judge Bench will consider the FR Petitions on 12 July.
