Ship donated by China arrives in Colombo

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The P-625 ship donated by the Chinese Government has reached the Colombo Port by now.

Navy Media Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Sooriyabandara said that this ship was donated with the purpose of further developing cooperation between the two countries.

This ship can be used in deep seas for inspection and monitoring and a number of technically advanced equipment is fixed in it.

The Navy Media Spokesman said that the function of officially accepting the ship in this country was scheduled for this morning.
