CEYPETCO resumes fuel distribution to CEB [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has resumed distributing fuel supplies to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Trade unions of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) have decided to temporarily suspend the supply of fuel to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) from midnight Sunday (30).

The unions stated that they will suspend the fuel supply to the CEB from today (01) if the remaining 140 meters of the fuel pipeline running from Colombo Harbour to the CPC Storage Terminal in Kolonnawa are not allowed to be reconstructed.
