Stern legal action against railway employees on strike

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government decides to take stern legal action against the railway employees who initiate trade union action at a time that the railway service has been made an essential service.

State Minister of Transport Ashok Abeysinghe stated that the trade union action will be considered as an offence punishable by the law as the Government declared the railway service an essential service.
