Unbeaten Nalanda record fourth win

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Unbeaten Nalanda College, Colombo recorded their fourth win of the Singer Trophy Under 17 Division One Inter-School Cricket tournament yesterday.

Nalanda beat De Mazenod, Kandana by four wickets and St. Peter’s, Bambalapitiya beat D.S. Senanayake, Colombo by 50 runs. Lumbini, Colombo thumped S. de S. Jayasinghe Central, Dehiwala by 298 runs.

St. Anthony’s, Katugastota beat Sri Rahula, Katugastota by 10 wickets and Dharmaraja, Kandy beat Sri Sumangala, Kandy by seven wickets. St. Thomas’, Matale beat Kingswood by eight wickets.

Thashika Nirmal of Lumbini made a century against S. de S. Jayasinghe Central.
