(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s Consulate General in Jeddah said that an agreement has been reached with a law firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to initiate and prosecute death compensation cases of the dependents of Sri Lankan nationals whose death had occurred as a result of third party negligence and for the prosecution of claims of blood money arising from murder cases.

The statement went on to say that with the signing of this agreement it is anticipated that the delay in the disposal of the said compensation cases could be avoided, so as to meet out justice expeditiously to the aggrieved parties.
