Cabinet approves tablet computers for A/L students, teachers

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday (25) granted approval to provide free tablet computers for students in the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A/L) classes in Government schools.

Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam on Tuesday (25) announced that 100,000 tablet computers would be given away to A/L students as well as the teachers in A/L classes in Government schools.
