(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Naval team apprehended 3 persons with 60 grams of drug ‘Ice’ during, a raid carried out in Urumalai area-Mannar on Monday (24).
Accordingly, a group of Naval Personnel attached to the North-Central Naval Command, arrested these persons for possessing drug ‘Ice’, during a search conducted at Urumalai beach area in Mannar.
A dinghy and few fishing gears used by them have also been recovered.
The arrested persons are residents of Thalaimannar, aged-22, 26, and 27.
The arrested persons along with drugs were handed over to Thalaimannar Police for onward investigation.
