Wellampitiya factory employee re-remanded

(UTV|COLOMBO) – One of the employees of the Wellampitiya copper factory arrested over links to Easter Sunday bombers has been further remanded until the 8th of July.

The tenth suspect in the case, Abdullah Rajendran was ordered to be further remanded by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage.

UTV News Court Correspondent said officers attached to the Terrorist Investigation Division today informed court that all persons implicated in the case are being investigated under clauses of the Counter Terrorism Act.
