(UTV|COLOMBO) – Water supply to several areas in Colombo will be disrupted for 15-hours commencing from 9.00 AM to 12.00 midnight on Saturday (22), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated.
Accordingly, water supply to Colombo, Dehiwela, Mt. Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municiple Council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawaththa, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiyasaba areas, Ratmalana and Soysapura Housing Scheme areas will be affected by the water cut.
The NWSDB said that the water supply will be disrupted due to Power supply interrupted by CEB to improvements & essential maintenance works to be done of Jubilee transmission and Ambathale intake pump house.
And also NWSDB requested the public to call hotline 1939 for any information.
