Mangala meets Boris Johnson on UK visit

(UDHAYAM, LONDON) – Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson had talks on taking the relationship between both countries forward.

Minister Samaraweera met Mr. Johnson at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London.

The Foreign Ministry said that discussions focused on developments in the bilateral relationship, including the way forward to advance trade and investment between the two countries.

Foreign Minister Samaraweera briefed his counterpart on developments in Sri Lanka and progress in the areas of institution building, strengthening democracy, advancing reconciliation and achieving inclusive development.
