Kabir and Haleem reinstated as Cabinet Ministers

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarians Kabir Hashim and M. H. A. Haleem, who had resigned from their Ministerial portfolios, took oaths as Ministers before President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday (19).

Both Parliamentarians accepted the letters of appointment with respect to their Ministerial portfolios they held earlier before resigning, from the President this morning.

All Muslim Ministers resigned from their Ministerial portfolios in the Government earlier this month.
