Man arrested for severing the tongue and killing of pet dog

(UTV|COLOMBO) – An individual has been arrested by the Hakmana Police for inhumanly severing the tongue and killing of a German Shepherd dog in Udupeellagoda, Hakmana.

Fifty-four-year-old suspect, identified as an employee of the Survey Department had committed this utmost inhumane act over a dispute he had with the owner of the dog.

The suspect is to be produce before the Deiyandara Magistrate’s Court, while the Hakmana Police are conducting further investigations into this despicable act.
