“Batticaloa Campus was not a centre for Sharia teachings” – Hizbullah

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Former Eastern Province Governor M. L. A. M. Hizbullah on Thursday (13) denied media reports that claimed the Batticaloa Campus was a centre for Sharia teachings.

Testifying before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday terror attack, he said that the Campus was set up for the sake of the students of low-income families in the area, and is open for students of all communities.
