Muslim MPs to meet Chief Prelates on Tuesday

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliamentarians representing the Muslim community have decided to hold discussions with the Chief Prelates on Tuesday.

Speaking to a prominent online news portal, Parliamentarian AHM Fowzie said the Chief Prelates will be updated on the prevailing situation in the country.

MP Fowzie said the MPs are also expected to clarify their stance on the decision to vacate their Ministerial posts.

The group of Muslim Parliamentarians are also expected to meet with political party leaders in the near future to hold talks over the matter.
