Cases against Johnston Fernando to be heard

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The cases filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian (MP) Johnston Fernando will be taken up for hearing today (21st Tuesday).

The cases will be heard before the Colombo Chief Magistrate. The cases were filed against the Parliamentarian on charges of failing to declare his assets and liabilities.

The case was postponed to today after the chief suspect failed to appear before court during the previous court hearing.
