Snyder approves, Reeves confirms new “Batman”

(UTV|COLOMBO) – He was linked weeks ago and seemingly reaffirmed last week, and now Robert Pattinson has been given the seal of approval as the new Batman by the two filmmakers most linked to the character in recent years.

First up, “The Batman” director Matt Reeves seems to have confirmed the news of Pattinson’s casting himself – posting a tweet with three Bat emojis along with a shot of Pattinson in his celebrated performance in “Good Time”. Pattinson and Reeves are expected to do a trilogy of new films together which might explain the three bats.

That’s not all though as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder, the one who set Ben Affleck as the most recent Batman, has been snapped posting on social media where he seems to have liked a story about Pattinson’s casting – suggesting his approval of the choice.

Matt Reeves’ film is expected to shoot in the new year ahead of a June 25th 2021 opening.
