Mahinda talks about presidential poll

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Elections Commission (EC) is determined hold the presidential election between November 15 and December 9, its Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said.

Participating in a television programme he stated that President, Prime Minister and Speaker have been informed of this.
He further stated that if the presidential poll will be postponed due to the Easter Sunday attack its a more severe crime than attacking people.
However, he officially declared that the election will definitely be held between November 15 and December 9.
