(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, and Central Provinces on Thursday (30), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Several spells of showers will occur in North-Western Province, while showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Uva Province, and in Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 2.00 PM.
Fairly heavy falls about 100 millimetres can be expected at some places in Southern and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, and in Kaluthara District, the Met. Department stressed, adding that fairly heavy falls about 50 millimetres can be expected at some places in Central and Uva Provinces.
