(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Answering to the speculations put forth by some journalists, Chamal Rajapaksa, the former Parliament Speaker, said he wouldn’t be joining the current Government and accepting a powerful portfolio. He expressed these views at a ceremony held at Upeka Bo Sevana in Kotawaya, Angunakolapelessa.
“I only participated at the SLFP executive committee meeting as a party member. However my participation had given a momentum to the occasion but with no intention of joining the Government,” he said.
