(UTV|COLOMBO) – Naval personnel found several explosive items during a search conducted in Puvarasantivu Island in Jaffna on Friday (24).
Accordingly, a troupe of naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command managed to find these explosive items hidden in the jungle area northwest of the Puvarasantivu Island.
Among the explosives are 1.7kg of TNT explosive mixed with C4 and 05 non electric detonators. The explosive items being kept in the safe custody of the Navy.
