“Govt. prepared to face any No-Confidence Motion” – Premier

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday (22) stated that the Government did not refuse to take up the Motion of No-Confidence against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen for debate in Parliament.

“If we allowed the Opposition to bring in a No-Confidence Motion against me, why should we worry about this No-Confidence Motion against Minister Bathiudeen?” the Prime Minister stressed in Parliament.

Premier Wickremesinghe further added that the Government “Will not run away from anything” and is prepared to defeat the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP)’s No-Confidence Motion against the Government as well.
