Schools to re-open amidst heavy security today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Schools will re-open for the second academic term this morning (06) amidst heavy security, 2-weeks after the coordinated suicide bombings on Easter Sunday (21) forced Authorities to close the educational institutions.

However, classes of only Grade 6 students and above will be held, while the second academic term for Grade 1 to 5 will commence on 13 May.
