Curfew imposed in Negombo lifted

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Police on Monday (06) announced that the curfew imposed in Negombo has been lifted at 7.00 this morning.

The curfew was imposed to prevent an escalation of a clash between two groups of three-wheel drivers in Poruthota in Negombo.

Following the tense situation, curfew was imposed in the Negombo Police Zone to bring the situation under control.
