Education Ministry informs Principals, Teachers to ensure the safety of students

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Education on Friday (26) issued a circular informing Principals and Teachers of schools to adopt necessary measures to ensure the safety of their students.

All Government and private Catholic schools island-wide will be opened for the second academic term on 29 April.

The schools were scheduled to reopen on Wednesday (24), following the bombings which killed 359 people and injured hundreds others in a series of explosions across Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday (21), one of the most sacred days of the year for Christians.
