Island-wide curfew lifted [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – An overnight curfew imposed quiet in capital city Colombo, before it was lifted on Monday morning (22).

The city’s beachfront hotel district, where several of the bombs struck Sunday (21), was heavily guarded.

At least 262 people were killed and hundreds more injured in a series of explosions across Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, one of the most sacred days of the year for Christians.
