(UTV|COLOMBO) – Ten people including three children were killed when a Trincomalee-bound bus crashed into a van in Mahiyanganaya on Wednesday (17).
The accident was occurred along the Badulla – Mahiyangana Road near the Mahiyanganaya National College early this morning.
The driver of the van had reportedly fallen asleep while driving resulting in the accident, it is learnt.
Meanwhile, a 5-year-old brother and his 20-year-old sister were also killed, while their father sustained injuries in a road accident in Dambulla, when the three-wheeler they were travelling in collided with a van on Tuesday (16).
