(UTV|COLOMBO) – Fuel price revision according to the Government-approved monthly pricing formula would not come into effect this month, it is learnt.
Despite the fact that the Pricing Committee convened at the Ministry of Finance on Monday (11), no decision has been made on fuel price revision for the month of March.
Accordingly, the fuel price revision which came into effect on 10 February would continue till 10 April.
When revising the price, the Committees take into account the world market fuel price and make appropriate revisions to the local price.
The fuel pricing formula is effective on the 10th of every month.
