(UTV|COLOMBO) – Naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command with the assistance of STF officials in Rathgama apprehended 02 persons with 1.76kg of Kerala cannabis during a raid carried out near Rathgama town area yesterday.
The suspects were nabbed while they were transporting cannabis in secrecy by a motorcycle.
The arrested persons have been identified as residents of Dodandoowa area in Modara, aged 30 and 21.The arrested persons along with the stock of cannabis and motorcycle were handed over to the Rathgama Police for onward investigation.
