Lankan Naval Ship returns from Pakistan

(UTV|COLOMBO) – After completing a successful tour to attend the ‘AMAN 2019’ Naval Exercise in Pakistan, Sri Lanka Navy Ship ‘Sayurala’ returned Sri Lanka. ‘Sayurala’ left from the Colombo Harbour to take part at the biennial exercise hosted by the Pakistan Navy on 02 February.

Sri Lanka was one among the 44 countries including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Nigeria, Philippine, Qatar and Russia that attended ‘AMAN 2019’ held in Karachi, Pakistan from 08 to 14 February.

After attending ‘AMAN-2019,’ ‘Sayurala’ left to take part at the ‘IDEX-2019’, the International Defence Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi. The biennial International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) commenced at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on 17 February.
