Rolling Stone and Imagine team for film series

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Rolling Stone and Imagine Documentaries are teaming to produce “Sound & Vision,” an anthology series of immersive films exploring music and cultural history using material from the Rolling Stone archive.

Helmed by visionary and award-winning filmmakers, each episode is a specific journey through a unique moment in time and framed by the reporting of Rolling Stone.

Episodes will reportedly range from biographical to investigatory of a watershed event or cultural milestone – everything from exclusive portraits of Freddie Mercury, Florence Welch and Aaliyah, to the rise and fall of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Justin Wilkes, and Sara Bernstein will executive produce.
